Element is a new operating system for Home Theater or Media-Center Personal Computers featuring a ten-foot user interface and designed to be connected to your HDTV for a digital media and internet experience within the comforts of your own living room. Element unlike any other HTPC system aims to integrate GTK applications into the ten-foot user interface through a unique implementation of the XFCE environment, thus allowing all of your favourite Linux applications to run under the ten foot UI standards. Element's featured media center software is XBMC, but add-ons for Boxee, Hulu, and Moovida are also available.
