Can we take from that (Yay!), that last week's commenter's thumbnail frame-clock suggestion worked for you? Or was it achieved by some other means. Could you or (the intrepid) Roblimo disclose the Bliptv frame number details for the benefit of rest of us linux.com readers?

The different/better thumbnail this week was pure chance. When you're uploading the same video to multiple hosts, editing to make one host pick a specific frame as its thumbnail is silly, unless you're an obsessive with lots of time on his/her/its hands and render differently for each video service.

Reality = the best way to control thumbnail appearance on Blip.tv right now is to find a frame you like, render or capture it as a still and upload it as a thumbnail.

We could also do the videos as chromakey projects and have very cool backgrounds, and lots of other neat things if we had more production budget (and people) and weren't working on a tight deadline.

This is a simple little weekly news wrapup, not a big-budget Hollywood product. Please try not to forget that.

"not a big-budget Hollywood product." ---

Yeah, good point. And, readers, feel free to let us know what you want more or less of, and what you'd like us to add. This is our service to you so let us know what *you* want.

Great Episode ... but just so you know ... telephony is pronounced "tell - eff - uh - nee" not "tell - ohh - fone - ee"

Ah, thanks! You know, for as much as I've read the word, I'm not sure I've ever actually *heard* it. Now I know. :-)
