I guess all the measuring and cutting would be cool but a waste of time. I have an Eee and I didn't have to do any of that to get my privacy filter. I contact a company called Viewguard and they custom made me the size--since it is so small the price was dirt cheap. They even told me that they will have the size readily available for both the 7" and 8.9" Eee for online ordering. If you want you can check out their website at www.buyviewguard.com. It appears they don't have the 7" or 8.9" listed yet but the Customer Service Rep said that it is available to ship.
