Subject: how do i install Fedora live cd 8
hi..
may i noe how to install fedora 8 live cd! ?
Listed files are:-
LiveOS
livecd-iso-to-disk
osmin.img
squashfs.img
ISOlinux
boot
initrd0.img
isolinux.bin
isolinux.cfg
memtest
vesamenu.c32
splash.img
vmlinuz0

You need to boot it when you turn on your computer.
usually, just put the disc in the cd-rom and restart.
if windows still loads, you'll need to tinker a bit on your BIOS (usually hitting DELETE on startup)

Since the above post assumes that you've already burnt the CD, I just thought I'd warn you of one of the common pitfallls. When you download the image, chances are it came as a .iso (or .asc or .img... I can't keep up with all the new ones they use anymore), make sure when you burn the disc that you're not just burning the file onto it, you have to open it up with some CD/DVD authoring software and it'll read it and then burn the *contents* of the image.
If you've already burnt it to a CD/DVD OK, then the above post should be your solution.
Incidentally, F2/F3 is also used to enter the BIOS (if you're not sure, when the computer loads it'll say something like "Press F2 to enter setup", that's the button to press).
