Subject: Will frequent installation affect hardware?

Hi All,
I have been installing Linux distros (lately Red Hat) often on my PC, configuration being PIII (1.2 GHz), 256 MB RAM, 20GB Hard Drive. May I know if frequent installation of OS affects hardware?

No, it won't harm your PC any more than any other regular operation with a lot of HD activity. But I'll not comment about what effect frequent OS installation might have on your mental health. lol
