Subject: how to get my downloads....????

Hello out there, I'm so new to this programme...I'm told it's the best....

My problem is I don't understand it.....Where can I go to find out what all the names and numbers mean......(see, that's how confused I really am, I don't even know how to ask a question with respect to this programme)

At the moment I would like it for someone to help me 'retrieve' a download.....I've downloaded Itunes for example or there are times I get mail and discover when I open it I am unable to read the attachement. Somehow I send it to this list that indicates it's 'finished', how long it is, etc, etc...But I don't know how to see what I've downloaded. Goodnes knows I'm not sure I've asked the question properly.....If you can help...I would be willing to give my phone number if someone could walk me through how to do these things...I'm so baffled. Believe me I have tried.....I just don't get it....I'm familiar with Windows XP and Itunes and limewire came with it....I miss my tunes.....and I would love to see those pictures my friends have sent me.....Thanks ever so much...
Cheers, Kathleen.....I've gone through the advantages and they seem incredible... I just want to learn....Thanks...

Kathleen,
It sounds to me like you are using Windows XP as your operating system. This is a forum for a completely different product, Linux.
The questions you have would require much more than what can be easily dispensed here. I would suggest you go to the link below for a lot of information listed in topics:

http://windows.about.com/od/windowsforbeginners/Windows_for_Beginners.htm

If you can't find what you need there, google "Windows XP help for beginners" that will provide you with a ton of resources to review.

Good luck.

If it ain't broke, you aren't trying hard enough.
