Subject: Floating Point Exception in Fedora Core x86_64

Hi All!
I have Fedora Core 3 x86_64 installed in my system, I use this to build application so that it should not have any dependecy problem with any higher kernel version. The build and the application(written in c++) was running fine, but few days back I repartitioned the system and installed the Fedora Core 3 x86_64, after that the build process completes successfully but throws up a "Floating Point Exception" error when I try to execute the application. Can any please tell what could be the reason for this unexpected error message, is there any package that needs to be installed but I missed out.
I use dell optiplex 755 and run Fedora with legacy support on.

Please help me!,
Regards
Supratik

You're compiling with gcc/g++? What version are you using and did you change it? A couple of years ago I had a similar problem with a Fedora 64-bit installation, and it turned out to be a bug in my latest gcc update.
