If you must, you will have to use either Wine or Crossover http://winehq.org http://www.codeweavers.com/products/cxlinux/ Developing application, again, no matter what you plan to do, can be done in any Linux distro. You can run any of Fedora, Ubuntu, Mandriva, OpenSUSE or any other distro you fancy.
