Subject: Opinions on Linux version to use

I have heard many good things about Linux and want to try it out, its going to be used for home use with an emphasis on gaming, graphic design, and some developing applications, just wondering which version would suite me best?

You can go for just about any Linux distribution, although, as I'm sure you're aware, you can't play Windows games on Linux. If you must, you will have to use either Wine or Crossover

Developing application, again, no matter what you plan to do, can be done in any Linux distro.

You can run any of Fedora, Ubuntu, Mandriva, OpenSUSE or any other distro you fancy. You can read about these and other Linux distros here:
