Subject: a rokiee

hi
sir,
i am in urgent help
not able to decide to put which of the linux o.s in my p.c
with a windows o.s and i want both of them to work in it like dual boot
so please advise me

config of my p.c is 1 gb ram 80 gb hard drive

so please help me
and guide me in right direction

I posted a link a link on how to install Linux in Vista under proper posting, The link takes you step by step through the install process. I would suggest Ubuntu for the 1st time user or Linux Mint,or even Mepis 7.0. Any of these will run with your specs. Burn the Live CD version so you can try it out without installing it 1st. That way you can find out whether the distro you choose is going to be compatible with your hardware. I suggest you hook up your computer via Land line when trying out any Live CD to make sure you are connected to the internet. I am no Linux geek, just a Biker. But I have 2 fully functional dual booting Linux computers where everything works and I only use Windows any more because my printer is not compatible with Linux. Live cd is the way to go for a new user coming from Windows. You can always install later after reading up on what you need do.
