Subject: computer networking, remind me again....

it has been a long time since I did this, remind me again what types of cables are needed when making a small (15 PC) network.

cable modem to router?
router to switch/hub?
hub to terminals/PCs?

if memory serves, modems to routers need a crossover connection while the rest is straight-throughs, right?

router to switch/hub: straight
switch/hub to PC: straight
switch/hub to switch/hub: crossover (unless one end is connected to an 'uplink' port)
modem to router:
I use a straight from my dsl modem (LAN ethernet interface) to my router (an ethernet interface on a PC running IpCop.) Not sure, but I think that all the home modems these days are autosensing.
