Subject: What to do to make changes on a live linux ?

This is probably a stupid newbie question but I have an working linux on my pendrive
its made from Windows. It is booting up and working perfectly, but I can't se the point having Linux with you on a pendrive if you can't install program that you need. What do I need to do to be able to do this?

Hi

Saving changes from a live distro may be difficult from one distribution to another, the one I have seen to (sometimes almost) nail it is Damn Small Linux. You will need to make 2 or more partitions on your usb pendrive, one for the OS and the rest for the apps you'd download. It is not so easy to set up, but once it works it is very nice.

Good luck
