Question Detail

I'm a novice who's just installed mint. I can't format when using points to automatically indent further each time a subpoint

added. Instead the starting place for each line remains at the same indent and it also skips half a line each time I hit

enter. If I select clear formatting it works but changes the font and size. Not a problem I had with Ubuntu. Any idea

what to d? Please keep it simple as I am not tech smart.

Thanks

#2 Adam 2009-10-29 22:16 I am going to assume you are trying to do this in a word processor. Since Linux Mint ships with OO, my guess is you are trying to use Open Office Writer. Your best bet, in that case would probably be to pose the question to the Open Office community, if it's not answered in the Open Office documentation at http://support.openoffice.org/

If you are using AbiWord, which may have been installed along with Gnome, you should be able to find help here: http://www.abisource.com/support/manual/
