I have a 7inch touchscreen pc that uses Windows XP and has a built in Satnav (Ndrive). It uses a 1ghz processor and has 256mb of ram with a 30gb mini harddrive. I want to know if I can replace Xp completely with Linux or Android. If possible, how do I do it? Android seems less demanding and user friendly for a small tablet pc. Also will I be able to use the satnav feature and the touchscreen functionality? The reason for wanting to change over is that Xp is to demanding on the processor and the Ram and can be very slow most of the time. The tablet has 2 USB and a mini sd card slot and no optical drive.
