  • System Restore?
Just downgrading the programs that you updated. i.e. probably java/flash/web-browser maybe.

  • Without knowing whatthe Operating System is.
Nor the way that YOU made back-up's in the first place.
And without knowing what you mean by " system restore", a normally reconised Microsoft Windows term .

There is NO answere to that question.

As stated it is impossible to answere .

  • As far as my knowledge, there is no system restore like in windows.... But there r more reliable features in Linux. It offers the same services to take snapshots of pc when changes made & "Back in Time" apps for Linux is great tool to achieve the same enhancement using to use gui. This services incld rsync / dd for creating / applying restore snapshots and diff for monitoring system changes. Back in Time allows to backup all folders and restore any folders with write access in the event of a problem following a system change.
