  • Try this.....
    su -c make uninstall
    sudo make uninstall
    make clean
    sudo rm -rf /usr/share/hplip/
    sudo rm -rf /etc/hp
    sudo rm -rf ~/.hplip
    sudo rm -rf /var/lib/hp
    If u loaded firmware, then
    sudo rm -rf /usr/share/hplip/data/firmware/*
    sudo rm -rf /usr/share/hplip/data/plugin/*

    Though I do not concentrate on the hplip installation. Only erase procedure is described here.
