Will it be as easy as some seem to think to install linux and keep windows? I am running vista 64bit with service pack2 I have a 640 gig main drive (C which has been partitioned. The main partition has 477 gig free, there is a recovery partition and an unallocated partitionof 79gig.Would this be suitable for dual boot installation and if so how easy would it be? I also have installed a secondary internal drive with 1 terabyte which could be used as it is used only for back-up. It has been partitioned with a primary of 537 gig (used 45.7, free 457.6 and an unallocated of 394.48 gig all free. I am not computer illiterate but no expert. I purchased this computer, an HP, with Vista installed three years ago,have never liked Vista, considered purchasing Windows 7 but am put off by the cost. That is why I am considering Linux. I am 75 years of age, still in charge of all my faculties so far and was wondering if Linux would be too technical for me? I live in northeast Scotland and have never used any O/S but Windows
