Pretty much any linux distro install can be configured to do what you ask. First thing you need to do is decide which linux distro is right for you and your hardware. Lots of distros have live images that can be downloaded and installed on cd/dvd/usb stick so that you can try them out before installing them. Check out distrowatch.com for descriptions and download pages of hundreds of different linux distros. They have a search tool allowing you to narrow down your options based on user experience level and type of distro. Also take a look at tutorials/articles on this site for more info. hth |

As far as I know, any Linux distro when installed correctly (not really hard) will also install a boot loader which will give you a choice to allow you to log into Windows or Linux. |
