Not sure exactly what you're asking... Are you actually looking for the most recent kernel to add to an existing distro or install? Or are you just getting started with linux and need advice on which distro to try? |

See, There r lots of Linux distro in the market with latest version of Kernel and other latest pathces. It is very simple, what u like/ comfortable u can dnld the same distro by invoking their related websites and get latest version of Linux OS. I think it is not necessary to change kernel or replace new kernel instead of default one else if there is not any special case / new HW related matter. |
