Your problem with booting from the disc may be due to a setting in your BIOS. You will need to find the hotkey which takes you to the BIOS menu, which you will have to press upon startup of the machine, and once in the BIOS menu, you will need to change your boot order, with the CD/DVD drive being the first in line. Another problem could be with the disc itself. It may have been burned wrong, in which case, you will need to reburn the image onto another disc, and make sure it is burned correctly. A good program for this is Imgburn, and also the burn utility built into Windows 7, if you have that os already. Good luck trying to get it up and running! |
