http://hplipopensource.com/hplip-web/index.html? This may be able to give you the driver for your printer if all else fails. However, how long did you wait for your computer to find your printer? I have to wait around four minutes for the typical Linux distro to find any one printer. So, you may need to wait longer, or download the driver then try to find the printer again. |

Go to "hplipopensource" and select "More Information". You need to download the package to your desktop then follow, preferably, the automatic step by opening a terminal and starting the shell process as instructed. The package takes care of missing dependancies. Works like a charm on my LinuxMint (Lucid and Maya) network. Use the 110a IP address in your browser to access all the functions. |

If you are attempting to use this printer wirelessly, you need to 1st follow the manufacturer's instructions on connecting this to your wireless router/access point. Once you have it connected to your router, start your printer setup tool and tell it it is looking for a network printer. Your computer will need to be connected to the same router as the printer. |
