  • Ubuntu has an ongoing problem with old Dell laptop wireless. There is a solution but, to be honest, the easiest way for a newcomer to Linux to handle the problem is to use another distro. Instead of Ubuntu, use Mint and you won't have any problem connecting your wifi.
