  • I've never heard of Linux 2013 64bit. Can you point me to the website where you downloaded this version of Linux? I can possibly help and provide some input with this audio problem if you can tell me the Linux distribution in use.

  • As root you can load a driver as following:
    modprobe snd_hda_intel

    whereby snd_hda_intel is your driver. To list available sound drivers do:
    find /lib/modules/$(uname -r)/kernel/sound -name "*.ko"
