  • The best option would be to do a fresh installation of Ubuntu.

    This can be done by booting into the memory stick and running the installer with settings set to replace the previous installation.

    Ubuntu's installer should handle all the partitioning and such for you.

    There is no way to upgrade directly from 10.10 to 12.04.
