Home Learn Linux Linux Answers Networking How to install Linux from a client machine?
  • In order to best answer this I need to know more information.
    1) What do you mean by client machines? What OS is it running?
    2) Do you have any control of the Network? do you have a DHCP server and can you make modifications to it? Or is this on a private build network?
    3) Where are you grabbing your linux OS from? the client computer, the net, or somewhere else?
    4) You say you are using a kickstart file, so just to be sure you want to install Redhat, CentOS, Fedora, or Scientific?

That is a start. Get me that and I can help you further.
