  • I recimmend you to use Ubuntu. It´s very similar, and you will be better with the 13.04 with Gnome Panel

  • Which distro is best will really depend on the individual and their use scenarios.
    I would recommend downloading some live images which are put on cd/dvd/usb stick to try different distros out without having to install any til you find one that works for both you and your hardware.
