Home Learn Linux Linux Answers Applications I have created a GFORTRAN .o executable How do I run this interactively?
Answers
  • A .o file is an object file. To get it to run, you have to link it first to produce an executable image.

    Generally speaking, something like:

    g95 -o .o

will do the trick. You then have to make sure is executable. You can do this using chmod as follows:

    chmod +x

and then run it by typing.

    ./

    Hope this helps.
