  • The easiest way to do this is with google. Go to the google site and type "password administrator vista".

    Such a search will invariably take you to http://home.eunet.no/~pnordahl/ntpasswd/. If you really want to be hardcore and switch off the admin password through a Linux live boot CD, then go to the FAQ on that site and there's some instructions how you can do that.

    or take a look at
    "linux rescue cd" with google, it's a small linux text based distro maded for making changes to the windows registry, so resetting passwords is quite common, you've even an already maded option for it
