  • I see it has been a while since this question was asked. I ran into the same issue. The solution for me:


      sudo gedit /etc/environment file, add WINPREFIX=/home/user/.wine
      Logout/Login
      Run winecfg, override gdiplus to Native.
      Logout/Login
