Home Learn Linux Linux Answers Applications Error - IOPL not enabled -what to do?
  • I see it has been a while since this question was asked. I ran into the same issue. The solution for me:

sudo gedit /etc/environment file, add WINPREFIX=/home/user/.wine
Run winecfg, override gdiplus to Native.
