  • You do seem to have some issues but I can't see you getting many helpful answers as your questions are not very specific.

    I suggest you tell us which version of Linux you are using and it's version, which part of the "outside world" you can't access, what you now "have to screw with" and which particular "source code" does not meet your exacting standards. Remember that this code is Open Source and you are free to change and improve it which will allow you to contribute to the Linux community.
