    I don't believe release 4 is out yet. I believe the current release for 10g is release 2 with release 3 being available for 10g lite.

    For future reference though, I would suggest referring to Oracle supported documentation for upgrades and the like which is freely available through their website. The upgrade documentation for release 2 can be found here:

    and all of 10g release 2 documentation found here:
