If you try to install Ubuntu with a small screen using the graphical method (i.e. with the Live CD), as a result some of the bottom of the windows are not visible. Basically, most naive users think that the installation crashes because you get to the partitioner and you can move your mouse around, but since you can't see the buttons it appears like you can't do anything.

This issue affects anyone with a small screen netbook. There are some workarounds, but I'm wondering if anyone has any comment on this issue. I believe that this issue can be recreated with a VM by setting the screen size to something like 500x4000 pixels and then trying to install from a graphical installer. Does it affect any other distro other than Ubuntu?
