hello !
i am new here !  and i wanna know something to dovecot!
 
i have intalled fedora 12 , i waanna make mail server from that server ...1st i was installed postfix, and dovecot with imap pop etc... and i dont know how to configure that dovecot, dovecot.conf or main config...can u please help me..with all that configure...the example, witch account and password...plss

Dovecot seems a bit involved, and it depends on your own personal specifications. Below are links to the Basic configuration, man pages and the wiki for setting up the mail directory. I hope this helps. |

Warning!! Before you spend a lot of time trying to set up a mail server, beware of the fact that most ISPs won't allow you to do that unless you have a commercial account with a static IP address. |
