Actually, it depends what ISO are download and which browser are you using for download the ISO file. I don't recomend anybody to use Internet Explorer for download ISO files because sometimes it doesn't work very well. Better to use Mozilla Browser or Opera Browser (which I think is the best option to download a ISO file). By the way check if you are downloading a CD ISO file and not a DVD file because that can be the problem. Also there are other good WIN programs that burns CD/DVD iso files (like nero burning).

The most frequent issue for new users burning disk is that they are using the cd-burining apps that came with their computers, many of them do not burn iso images. You will need to confirm that your application can burn images or download one that the community can confirm does burn iso images,
