Home Learn Linux Linux Answers Audio/Video I am running Ubuntu 9.04, and I have know clue how to scan for wireless networks and connect to them. I need a walk through to know how to do this.

    The ubuntu guide has excellent documentation, so I highly recommend that you poke around that site for information.

  • Click on Network Manager, you will see list of wifi networks :)

  • use network manager.. or install application name aircrack to find BSSID of network area... try it sir

  • You can also install wicd which is a very good program to scan for wireless access points. Go to ubuntu software center and type wicd.
