    I believe that SuseStudio offers a really easy way to create a base install of SuSE, and allows you to specify the format of the media you will be copying the image to ie:HDD image,USB key,etc. I would take a look there first, its a pretty good interface and allows you to customize the install before it is packaged.

  • you can use Universal USB Installer to install opensuse in pendrive.it takes 10 to 15 minutes and the steps are very easy.If you want to install several linux distro in a same pendrive then you can use YUMI ‚Äì Your Universal Multiboot Installer for multi boot.

  • Use UNetbootin for this purpose. But first check the MB supports boot from USB / Pen drive.
