It totally depends on Linux distro, the way of installation / configuration and available drivers / kernel versions. It is best to clarify from the vendor, from where u buy this thing or navigate to their web site and search for the help. As my opinion, hopefully there is no issue to the such kind of notebook.

  • Lenovo thinkpads are largely know for their linux compatibility :)

    However, you'd have to give an exact model for us to tell you if everything would work :)
