  • Never mind, I found out how to unhide folders and files.
    And yes, the mailbox and index file formats for the Windows and Linux versions of Thunderbird are identical.

  • Yes indeed they're, you can move files to different OSes if you want to keep the same account.
    There's an excellent doc on : http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Thunderbird
    but briefly: C:\Documents and Settings\\Application Data\Thunderbird\Profiles\
