2009 Moblin Executive Summit: Jon Malamut, of Canonical

Jon Malamut, GM of OEM services at Canonical begins with an overview of Canonical, which publishes the popular Ubuntu Linux distributions. Malamut says Canonical has worked with "many" OEMs both in Taiwan and oversees, and has delivered Clutter-based Moblin implementations for Dell and Toshiba products, and also worked with HP. He says Canonical can help bring products to market by leveraging its ecosystem of service providers and partners. He notes that Canonical expects to ship an open source Moblin stack called Ubuntu Moblin Remix in Sept., 2009.
