The first edition looks at the workings of the Fiduciary Licence Agreement, how Peer-to-Patent worked and the implications of recent US appeals court decisions. There are also case law reports and relevant book reviews. Karen Copehaver, a partner at Choate Hall & Stewart LLP, counsel to the Linux Foundation and author of one of the articles in the first edition, notes that "For many years the focus in the legal community has been on raising questions about free and open source software licences and development models.
