Mandriva Folds in Moblin Tech

One of the largest commercial Linux distributions has added Moblin v2 technology and Poulsbo (GMA500) support. Mandriva claims to be "the first distribution to include full packaged Moblin environment."

Alert readers may recall that the Fedora project earlier added a selection of Moblin technology, to an alpha version of Core 12. However, Fedora's emphasis on being redistributable limits it to pure open source software, which would likely prevent it from adding support for Poulsbo. Core 12 is slated to ship in final form on Nov. 10, while Mandriva is aiming towards a Nov. 3 release date...
