Google Announces Android 2.2

As expected, Android 2.2 (& Froyo& ) was announced at this morning's Google I/O conference in San Francisco. Touted as significantly faster than Android 2.1, thanks to the addition of a JIT (just in time) complier, the operating system upgrade will also provide USB tethering and WiFi hotspot support, the company says....
