OSV Speeds Moblin Tech Evaluations

I recently had a chance to take Novell's implementation of Moblin Linux technology for a spin. I found it offered quicker time-to-evaluation than other Moblin-ized distros I've tried.

I got the bits directly from Guy Lunardi, director of "client preloads" at Novell. After speaking with me for a few moments at the recent Intel Developer Forum in San Francisco, Lunardi ducked into Novell's briefing lounge, and emerged a few minutes later with a USB key containing what he described as an "up-to-the-minute" build. He proceeded to install it on an Asus EEE Seashell system for me. He said if I came back that afternoon, he could add another round of important patches, which he expected to arrive within hours...
