Cisco Advances OpenStack Offerings, Partners with Red Hat

The OpenStack Summit is going on this week in Hong Kong, and Cisco has kicked things off with a number of announcements.The company was one of the earliest to join the OpenStack Foundation and is moving forward with commercial support plans and products.

Cisco officials announced the Cisco UCS Solution Accelerator Paks for OpenStack cloud infrastructure deployments. These are bundles, focused on "compute-intensive, mixed-deployment, and storage intensive workload configurations," and are designed to work with OpenStack distributions from Red Hat, Canonical, SUSE and other ecosystem partners.
