Enabling Desktop Grids for e-Science and Industry Symposium

Over the email transom this weekend, news of an upcoming symposium in conjunction with ISC’09 in Hamburg this month

…the Enabling Desktop Grids for e-Science and Industry Symposium will take place in Hamburg, Germany at ISC’09. The goal of the Symposium is to bring together Grid application users, developers and companies and discuss the possibilities of using this technology to get more computing power at reduced costs in universities and companies. Also linking different kinds of Grids, Desktop Grids, Service Grids such as EGEE and supercomputer Grids such as DEISA will be discussed.
