I am hoping, linux 3.11 will allow the radeon driver to unlock some of my ATI Radeon 4650 HD features. The proprietary driver never worked with any of the previous kernel versions. For this particular GPU, the driver is not compatible. Don't think it will ever be. The radeon drivers works well. I prefer to use all or most of my GPU's features.

Just installed and booted it. I lolled twice: first, when I read the Makefile: VERSION = 3 PATCHLEVEL = 11 SUBLEVEL = 0 EXTRAVERSION = NAME = Linux for Workgroups Then when I saw the boot logo! :-)
