Mapnipulated

- Daniel Chapman (Idea & Commentary) & Chris Suico (Artwork)

I know the whole Apple Map thing has been done to death, but it's still a crappy app.

I think it is telling when the day after the iOS6 release, the top apps in the App Store are the you tube app and a few non-apple map apps.

I keep reading articles about how bad it is but my own experience has been the opposite as the Apple on has been working much better than the Google one. The old default Google maps constantly got me lost and turned around so much so I had to use MapQuest instead. However since the new Apple maps it works great. I for one am happy about the change. And really where are all these people driving that Apple Maps supposedly told them to drive over a cliff? Are there really roads out there leading to the edge of a cliff? As for removing the Apple YouTube app that was a minor inconvenience but it was easy to download the Google one and now it should get some attention and get an occasional update which it never got before.
