Supplanted

- Daniel Chapman (Idea & Commentary) & Chris Suico (Artwork)

It's kind of old news, but still interesting. Apparently plants do some pretty complex mathematical projections to work out how best to regulate their starch reserves overnight.

We already know that plants talk to each other via fungus and chemical emissions. Now they can do math too.

We were all afraid of being replaced by robots, but what if the future has plants taking over the (modern) world.

They may already be plotting it via their little fungal-chemical secret intranet....

"They may already be plotting it via their little fungal-chemical secret intranet...." Never, never in the world could plants take over. They have no way of controlling us at all. Anyway, got to go now, my sun flower wants me to move the artificial sun glob to keep it warm and simulate the movement of the sun... G

I won't bother if plants control us... It would be good for the planet and us...
