Cisco Eyes Web Alternative To Microsoft Office

Cisco could add Microsoft Office-like applications to its growing arsenal of online collaboration products.

the programs utilized could be open source and be compatible with M$Office, Open Office, or even Star Office.

Maarek's comment reflects what I was thinking when I posted it. Though I am not sure about what this new software will look like, Cisco's historical stance on open source leads me to speculate that this new offering could be something the Linux community will like. I could be wrong, but I thought the news was worthy enough at least from a general IT standpoint that it merited discussion.
