Kernel developer Johannes Berg maintains wireless code in the kernel as well as the iwlwifi driver. Like many developers, he got involved with Linux to fix a hardware problem with his computer and never looked back. This week's profile interview is with John Linville, the maintainer of the wireless LAN subsystem in the Linux kernel since 2006. Linville says he doesn't keep score and acknowledges there are a lot of ways to get at the same problem.
