Description
OSI Days (formerly LinuxAsia) started in 2003, with the mission to accelerate the growth of adoption of FOSS in Asia. Till date, the overall mission of OSi Days remains the same. A key attribute of OSI Days is that it tries to bridge the gap between the 'community' and the 'industry'. OSI Days is the crossroads of all things open source, bringing together 3000+ of the best, brightest, and most interesting people to explore what's new, and to champion the cause of open principles and open source adoption.
OSI Days 2010 promises to be the richest conference experience in the series. The conference focusses on FOSS Developers, Architects, IT Managers, CXO, Academicians and Students and serves as the platform for discussing various open source concepts, technologies and projects including Mobile Development, Web Development, LAMP Stack, Business Management, eGovernance, Drupal, Javascript, Databases, Hardware, etc.

The Chennai Trade Centre is set up at a prime location in the Chennai metro at Nandambakkam, adjacent to St. Thomas Mount in an area of over25 acres of land with exhibition halls and support services. CTC has three halls – Hall No. 1(4,400 sq. mtrs) Hall No. 2 (1, 760 sq.mtrs.) and Hall No.3(4,400 sq.mtrs) with six meters height to display all merchandise including machinery. The Trade Centre is architecturally and technically designed to be a “state-of-the-art” Exhibition Complex. The Air – Conditioned halls with no intermittent pillars or columns, are eminently suitable for multi-purpose use of organizing exhibitions, conferences, conventions and conducting other trade, commerce and industry-related events. All the halls are inter-linked and Hall No. 3 is connected with convention centre.
